Foundation Course Humanities/ Science/ Social Science
The total amount is €5000 and it is divided in 5 installments. €16 of revenue stamp must be added to the first fee .
An application fee of 30 € is also required

- €1016.00 for admission purposes
- €1000.00 by 29/01/2027
- €1000.00 by 26/02/2027
- €1000.00 by 31/03/2027
- €1000.00 by 30/04/2027
Foundation Course single modules
The amount of the tuition fees is 85 € per credit. Application fee (30 € )and revenue stamp (16 €) must also be added.
The 20% of the total amount must be paid for admission purposes and the remaining 80% by 31/01/2027.
How to pay
The first fee must be paid via the PagoPA platform according to the instructions that will be given during the application procedure.
Tuition fees (from the second installment onwards) can be paid only through the Alice portal by using the PagoPA platform.
To pay the tuition fees you must enter your Alice profile and then you must go to Menu/ Secretariat/ Taxes

You can also print the notice of payment of the specific fee by going to “Taxes” and then paying it by going to an Italian post-office. Please remember to keep the receipt.
Other methods of payment will not be accepted.
Please make sure to select the right installment to be paid in your Alice portal by checking carefully the payment deadline. Penalty fees due to wrong payments will not be refunded.
Penalty Fee
Late payments produce a penalty fee of 100 €
Refund policy
The first instalment is refundable only in case of refusal of issuance of the study visa by the competent
Diplomatic Representation and subsequent communication of withdrawal by the student.
The above-mentioned refusal must occur no later than 31/10/2026 and must be certified (together with
the date) through an official communication/letter from the above-mentioned Representation, which the
student must send by e-mail to studyabroad@unipi.it.
