If you don’t have already a private health insurance valid for one year you can register to the Italian National Health System (INHS).
The registration is valid until 31/12/2024.
The registration gives you the same health rights of an Italian citizen such as the right to choose your general practicioner and to get a health card.

Once you have paid keep the receipt and then you’ll be able to choose your general practicioner and to get the health card.
