The Foundation Course Humanities (FCH) is aimed at candidates with a School Leaving Qualification obtained after 11 years of schooling and it is composed of a total of 60 Foundation Course credits (CFC).
The duration of the Program is one academic year and all modules are taught in English, except for the Italian Language classes.
There are 288 hours of modules in English and 320 hours of modules in Italian over the whole year of study.

The program consists of the following modules:
- Italian Language and Culture (24 CFC)
Every student has the possibility to replace one module of Italian Literature: an introduction II (3 CFC) and Introduction to philosophical thought (3 CFC) with the following courses offered by the Foundation Course Science::
- Logic and Modelling (3 CFC)
